Lounging Lion– This is an African lion its appearance and power has been admired throughout history as a symbol of strength and courage. Being in the cat family, they are only second in size to tigers. The ferocious roar of this lion can be heard 5 miles away; can you imagine how startling that would be if one was 5 feet away from that roar? Persons regarded as "lion-hearted" undoubtedly have made an impression on many as exceptionally brave and noticeably fierce. This particular lion is resting on a boulder with a full belly and no need to roar and scare-up prey for awhile, apparently this lion is enjoying a tranquil waterfall setting after the meal.
