Early Blossoms at Mt.Rainer– This is a national park in the state of Washington. The park was established on March 2, 1899, as the fourth national park in the United States, preserving about 370 sq mi; including all of Mount Rainier which is a 14,410-foot stratovolcano mouuntain and is the highest point in the Cascade Range. Mount Rainier is surrounded by a whole host of valleys, waterfalls, subalpine meadows, and 91,000 acres of old-growth forest, coupled with many natural and man made trails.

More than 25 glaciers descend the flanks of the volcano, which is often shrouded in clouds that dump enormous amounts of rain and snow. Native Americans named the mountain itself in the Lushootseed tongue pronounced "Taquoma" or Tacoma, with all the geographics previously mentioned Mt. Rainer is one of the most outstanding landmarks in the United States.
